What a gorgeous day...

We had an absolutely amazing day today. It started off with the girls' first trip to Costco and what's not to love about that! We strapped them up in their Baby Bjorns and took the store by storm. Actually, they slept through most of the adventure, but I'm pretty sure they loved it. The husband and I are quite fond of attention, so we were very happy when people stopped by to gawk at our two little ones while we fed them their bottles in the food court. I do have to say this, though - if you're going to exclaim at our twins, please say something more entertaining than "Babies!" before walking away. Yes, we know what they are - thanks.

Anyway, after trying not to buy the entire store, we headed home to unload our wares. It was so nice outside, though, that we couldn't help but take the kiddoes out for a walk downtown. We headed over to the biergarten at the Rathskeller - amazing! I think I want to go there every weekend this summer.

Finally, we had our neighbours over for a cookout tonight. It was very entertaining for us girls to watch our husbands sitting out on the deck in chairs hunched over a couple of camping grills. The arrival of our daughters has definitely put a halt in plans to outfit the deck, among other household projects. The food turned out amazing, though, and we had a fantastic time playing cards and hanging out while the babies snoozed.

I wish everyday could be like today.
